Lightly coat the slow cooker with cooking spray. For easy clean-up, place a slow cooker liner (which is lightly coated with cooking spray) in your slow cooker.

Place potatoes, sausage and cheese in the slow cooker.

In a small bowl, combine the cream of chicken, milk, chives, black pepper and cayenne. Pour over the potato mixture. Stir to combine.

Cover and cook on Low 5 to 6 hours or until the potatoes are tender and thoroughly heated.

Stir before serving.
