How do I sign up my school?
Simply click on the High 5 For Schools registration button and fill out the required form.
Can I sign up for more than 1 week?
No. Each school is permitted to select 1 week per year.
Can I select more than one Karns Foods location?
No. You must select a specific store location for your designated week.
Can I select any week that I want?
The following time periods are excluded from the 2011-2012 school year: November 21 – 27, 2011 and December 19, 2011 – January 1, 2012.
How do I get the vouchers?
After completing the on-line registration form, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with an attached voucher that you can distribute.
Do you make copies of the voucher for me?
Sorry, but you are responsible for printing and distributing the vouchers.
Does Karns Foods publicize for us?
No. You are responsible for this.
What if I forget to bring the voucher to the store?
Simply bring your receipt and voucher to the store anytime during the designated week. We can not accept receipts after the designated week.
Can I hand out vouchers to customers in the store and/or the parking lot of the Karns Foods store?
No. We ask that you not approach other shoppers with a voucher or information on the program.
I would like to sign up our booster club. Is that allowed?
Absolutely! As long as the club is school sanctioned and there is a teacher or school advisor overseeing the organization, the club qualifies.
I would like to have the check made payable to me personally. Is that ok?
All checks must be made payable to the school or school sanctioned organization and will be mailed to the school address.
I would like to distribute vouchers to friends and family members, but they don’t actually have children in the school. Is that ok?
Of course! The more people that you get to shop during your designated week, the bigger the check for your organization.
What percentage of my purchases goes to the school?
5% of eligible purchases will be given to the school (see exclusions for complete details). Checks will be issued within 6 weeks of the completion of the designated week.
